Calling all Teddy Bears and their owners! After 2 years of cancellations due to the Covid
pandemic, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kingston,Frontenac, Lennox & Addington
is thrilled to announce that they will once again be hosting the 28th Tamarack Teddy
Bear Picnic. The Picnic will be held on Saturday, August 27th from 10:00am – 2:00pm
at Lake Ontario Park!
- ● Entry fee will be $5.00 per person. All proceeds benefit free mentoring programs for
over 500 local children and youth in need of a positive role model to grow into healthy
and strong young people.
● Don’t miss out! Advanced tickets go on sale August 1st and can be purchased at 1300
Bath Rd. at BGC South East or tickets can be purchased at the park entrance the day of
the event. (We will send the event link for online sales soon)
● Children, parents and teddy bears are invited to be a part of this Kingston Tradition that
has been taking place for 28 years in our community.
● Enjoy an afternoon of fun activities, bouncy castles, local business showcase, crafts and
entertainment. Highlights of the day include the Tamarack Teddy Bear Parade and Dr.
Goodbear Clinic for all teddy bears who are in need of some TLC.
